These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), together with the Order, form a legally binding agreement (the “Agreement”) between the Customer and GoEV Charging Limited.

1. Definitions

The following definitions apply throughout these Terms:

APP
The software application associated with the EV Charger.
Applicable Legislation
Includes, but is not limited to, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Cancellation Fee
Any fee payable in respect of cancelling an Installation, where such fee is detailed within the Order.
Certification
Either NICEIC or NAPIT certification, as applicable.
Charger / EV Charger
The electric vehicle charging unit selected by the Customer and detailed within the Order.
Customer
The individual(s) identified within the Order.
Deposit
The percentage of the Installation Fee as detailed within the Order.
Location
The Customer premises where the Charger is to be installed.
Installation
The installation of the Charger at the Location by GoEV in accordance with clause 5.
Installation Fee
The total fee for the supply and installation of the Charger.
OEM
The original equipment manufacturer.
Order
A Quote accepted by the Customer, either electronically or by signing a hard copy.
Quote
The quotation provided by GoEV to the Customer.
GoEV
GoEV Charging Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16962391). Trading address: 400–402 Richmond Road, Sheffield, S13 8LZ, United Kingdom.
Supplementary Terms
Any addition or amendment to an Order.
Survey
A survey of the property carried out by GoEV to determine charger position, including electrical cabling requirements, Wi‑Fi signal suitability, and any additional groundworks.
Working Day
Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

2. Quote and Order

2.1 GoEV shall provide a Quote valid for 14 days, detailing:

  • Model and specification of the Charger
  • Price for Charger and Installation
  • Price for Groundworks (where required)

2.2 A Quote may be accepted electronically or by signing a copy. Once accepted, the Quote becomes an Order.

2.3 Following acceptance, GoEV shall issue an invoice in accordance with the Order and agree an Installation date with the Customer.

3. Cancellation

3.1 The Customer may cancel the Order within 14 days of acceptance, provided the Installation has not been completed.

3.2 Where cancellation occurs after this period, GoEV may levy a Cancellation Fee where specified within the Order.

4. Charges and Payment

4.1 A Deposit invoice shall be issued upon acceptance of the Quote and is payable on the following Working Day.

4.2 The remaining Installation Fee shall be invoiced upon completion of commissioning and is payable on the following Working Day.

5. Installation

5.1 GoEV shall use reasonable endeavours to meet the agreed Installation Date; time shall not be of the essence.

5.2 The Installation Date will be agreed following payment of the Deposit and confirmed by email.

5.3 A standard installation includes:

  • Mounting the Charger on a suitable permanent structure
  • Routing cable through one drilled wall (up to 500mm thick where required)
  • Up to 30 metres of cabling between the consumer unit and Charger, clipped to wall surfaces
  • Installation of a circuit breaker in the consumer unit
  • Demonstration of Charger and App functionality (“Commissioning”)
  • Electrical testing and Certification following full payment

Non-Standard Installations

5.4 Where additional works are required outside the scope of a standard installation, GoEV will provide a revised quotation. Any additional works agreed will be invoiced separately.

6. Customer Obligations

6.1 The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and consents.

6.2 The Customer shall provide reasonable access to the Location.

6.3 Where the Customer delays or fails to meet these obligations, GoEV may:

  • Reschedule the Installation Date; or
  • Cancel the Order; and
  • Invoice reasonable costs incurred as a direct result of the failure.

7. Risk and Title

7.1 Risk in the Charger passes upon delivery to the Customer.

7.2 Title passes only upon full payment of all sums due. Where payment is overdue, GoEV reserves the right to recover unpaid goods.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 GoEV’s total liability shall not exceed the total sums paid under the relevant Order.

8.2 Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business, data, or anticipated savings.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8.4 This clause survives termination of the Agreement.

9. Warranty

9.1 GoEV warrants that Installations will be carried out in accordance with good industry practice.

9.2 OEM warranties shall be passed to the Customer, subject to the Customer complying with their terms.

9.3 All other warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Data Protection and GDPR

10.1 GoEV’s Privacy Policy is available on its website.

10.2 GoEV may collect and process personal data in accordance with Applicable Legislation.

10.3 Personal data may be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling Orders and retained only as long as necessary.

10.4 Where acting as a Processor, GoEV shall comply with Article 28 UK GDPR obligations.

10.5 By accepting a Quote, the Customer consents to GoEV contacting them by phone or email in connection with the services.

11. Force Majeure

11.1 Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations (other than payment) due to events beyond reasonable control.

11.2 If such non-performance continues for three months, either party may terminate the affected Order, subject to settlement of outstanding payments.
